i am a 15 year old girl ,
dyed black hair, dark brown eyes.
i like to wear dark clothes, and skinny jeans&things most people wouldn't wear in public.
i like to make people laugh, as well as take photos & work with horses.
i used to live in Indiana, and I now live in Virginia.
i've been crazy about horses since i was little, and used to help my family train their horses. well, my sisters' mare had two foals - a roan tobiano colt [now a 4yr old], and a black tobiano filly [would be 3yrs old]. my sister liked he colt, named him Sparky and had him gelded. i was given the black tobiano filly when i came to visit next, and she was a Yearling - she was really only given to me because my sister was scared of her, and the filly knew it. I named her Dixie, and began her training. Though this year, on January 22ed, I learned that my horse - Dixie, had died. I told them not to tell me how, and I still don't want to know. I've given up going back to Indiana during the summers now.
i had moved though, and was not able to be around horses for quite some time except during the summer when i worked with Dixie, and helped train our other horses. i tried out several barns, but i never clicked with any of the owners, and only went a few times. i finally found an amazing barn.
i love this place. they own/breed/train/&sell Rocky Mountain Horses. i've only been going for a few months, but I have already started a 3 year old filly named Peek-A-Boo. And have also been riding a 6 year old mare in preparation for the International Show [in Ohio]. she's pretty amazing!
when i started coming out to the barn, I saw two fillies out in the field with three mares. a palomino and a silver dapple. they were brought in for training about a week after i began coming to the barn. the palomino is named Darling, and the silver dapple, Peek-A-Boo.
My trainer is training Darling.
when I started riding Peach [6 year old mare], we clicked. she attempted a few things, to see how much she could get away with, of course, but after-wards we rarely had a problem. we've been pushing her during show practices to get her speed up, and oohh man, did she ever speed the hell up !
Before she was going as slowly as possible, and I ended up using 'kind-spurs' with her. And recently we've been working 6 or more horses at a time in the arena [we have a big-ass outdoor arena] to help them all get used to being more crowded and passing horses, and being passed.
it's going great
